I still remember the first day I stepped into my university, feeling both excited and nervous. The campus was vast and beautiful, with trees and flowers all around. My heart was filled with anticipation for the new experiences that awaited me. Little did I know that one of those experiences would be writing an English composition. As a student majoring in International Business, I had always been good at languages. However, I was not very confident in my writing skills. So, when the teacher announced that we were to write an essay on "The Importance of Time Management," I was quite apprehensive. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try and see if I could improve upon it. Firstly, I spent a few days researching different methods and techniques for time management. I read articles, watched videos, and even consulted some experts on this topic. This helped me gather enough information to write my essay effectively. Secondly, I brainstormed some key points that I wanted to cover in my essay such as: the importance of prioritizing tasks, avoiding procrastination, and setting realistic goals. Then, I started drafting my essay by structuring it in three parts – introduction, main body, and conclusion. In the introduction part, I briefly discussed what time management means to me and why it is important to be able to do so. In the main body section, I elaborated on each of the key points mentioned above. For example, I used real-life examples to show how prioritizing tasks can lead to better productivity and less stress. Lastly, in the conclusion part, I summarized my points and emphasized the significance of time management skills in our lives. After writing the essay, I felt proud of myself for taking up this challenge and putting effort into improving my writing skills. Moreover, this experience also taught me the importance of hard work and dedication towards achieving any goal that we set out for ourselves. My University English Composition 2

As the semester progressed, we were required to write another composition on "The Benefits of Reading". This topic interested me since reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies. So, without much thought or delay, I decided to dive deep into this theme and explore its multifaceted benefits in detail. To start off with, I delved into researching various types of reading materials such as fiction, non-fiction, newspapers, magazines etc. This knowledge helped me understand that reading is not just limited to books alone but encompasses a broader spectrum of content too. After acquiring this information, I started drafting my composition by structuring it in two parts – the benefits of fictional reading and non-fictional reading. In the introduction part of the essay, I explained what reading meant to me personally and how it played a vital role in shaping my perspective on various issues. Then came the main body section where I discussed the benefits of fictional reading such as enhancing imagination, developing empathy and understanding others' feelings etc. Furthermore, I also highlighted the advantages of non-fictional reading such as gaining knowledge about current affairs, learning new skills etc. Finally, in the concluding part of my essay, I summarized my arguments and emphasized on the importance of incorporating reading habits into our daily routines to reap its numerous benefits throughout life. This composition not only improved my writing skills further but also made me realize the profound impact that reading has on our intellectual growth and emotional wellbeing. It also reinforced my belief in the power of education and self-learning through literature.
